Tipos de violencia en el noviazgo: estudiantes universitarias de la UAEM, Zumpango

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como propósito identificar si existe violencia inmersa en las relaciones de noviazgo de las estudiantes del Centro Universitario UAEM Zumpango, de la Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México. Por ello se aplicó a 100 estudiantes un instrumento de 78 preguntas, creado por Delgadillo y adaptado para población universitaria. La prueba está conformada por cuatro áreas: violencia económica, violencia psicológica, violencia física y violencia sexual. Los resultados obtenidos muestran que el 92 % de las participantes reconoció indicios de violencia psicológica en la inmediata relación pasada o en la que actualmente mantenían. Así mismo, derivado de un Anova one way, la violencia psicológica es la predominante en las relaciones de pareja que establecen las alumnas de las carreras de Enfermería, Psicología, Turismo y Derecho. Cabe señalar que la violencia psicológica casi siempre está acompañada de otro tipo de violencia, por ejemplo el 34 % de las mujeres universitarias manifestaron vivir episodios de violencia psicológica combinada con alguno de los otros tipos de violencia (física, económica y sexual). El 31 % reconoció elementos de tres tipos de violencia en su relación. La combinación más recurrente fue: psicológica, económica y física. Un 12 % se situó en una relación con los cuatro tipos de violencia presentes y solo un 2 % no vislumbró ningún indicio de violencia en su relación.

The present investigation had as intention identify if immersed violence exists in the relations of engagement of the students of the University Center UAEM Zumpango, of the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico. By it there was applied to 100 students an instrument of 78 questions, created by Delgadillo and adapted for university population. The test consists of four areas: economic violence, psychological violence, physical violence and sexual violence. The obtained results show that 92 % of the participants recognized indications of psychological violence in the past immediate relation or in that nowadays they were supporting. Likewise derived from an Anova one way, the psychological violence is the predominant one in the relations of pair that there establish the students of the careers of Nursing, Psychology, Tourism and Law. It is necessary to indicate that the psychological violence almost always is accompanied of another type of violence, for example 34 % of the university women demonstrated to live through episodes of psychological violence combined with someone of other types of violence (physical, economic and sexual). 31 % recognized elements of three types of violence in their relationship. The most frequent combination was, psychological, economic and physical. 12 % placed in a relation with four present types of violence and only 2 % did not foresaw any evidence of violence in their relationship.
